Deadwood

Driftwood and Fence Posts

Some years ago I lived at the lower end of the Chesapeake Bay.  On a walk with my 2 Chesapeake Bay Retrievers, both now having crossed the bridge into Dog Heaven, I found a piece of driftwood that to me looked like the head and neck of a Woodpecker.  I have it mounted and call it Woodie (Woodie Woodpecker).  I moved many years later to the Shenandoah Valley and rode a mountain bike on the back roads.  I came across 2 old abandoned fence posts.  That on the top right I call Droopy Dog.  That at the bottom I call Gnarled Post.  There are at least 5 images of animal faces in the top portion - you have to let your mind float and not focus to see them.

Deadwood on Water

During a visit to Salisbury Maryland's Zoological Park I saw a pile of dead branches on the Park's pond.   I thought I saw within the pile shapes of animals and otherwise.  Below are four images, "Deadwood-0" is of the pile and the other three are enlarged crops of portions of the Pile.  Within each are what appear to be several shapes of animals or otherwise. Have a Go at finding the shapes
